These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ArthSetu platform, including our website at arthsetu.in, all related pages, tools, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering, accessing, or using ArthSetu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
ArthSetu is currently operated by its founding team and is in the process of incorporating as a Private Limited company in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. References to "ArthSetu," "we," "our," or "us" refer to this entity and its successors.
ArthSetu is India's startup ecosystem platform that connects startups, angel investors, venture capitalists, incubators, mentors, and government grant programs. The Platform enables:
ArthSetu is a discovery and networking platform. We facilitate introductions and connections but are not a party to any investment, funding, or business agreement made between users.
To use ArthSetu, you must:
ArthSetu is primarily intended for users in India but is open to participants globally. Users outside India are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws.
To access most Platform features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at arthsetupvt@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. ArthSetu is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized account access caused by your failure to keep credentials secure.
Each individual or organization may maintain one account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or misrepresent your identity is prohibited.
ArthSetu reserves the right to review and verify startup profiles. A "verified" badge indicates our review process was completed, but does not constitute an endorsement, investment recommendation, or guarantee of any business claims.
Users register under one or more of the following roles, each with specific responsibilities:
All users are solely responsible for the accuracy of information they provide. Misrepresentation of your role, credentials, or business information is grounds for immediate account termination.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Platform, including startup profiles, pitch decks, business descriptions, and documents ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant ArthSetu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and use your content solely to operate and improve the Platform.
All content you submit must:
When you upload sensitive documents such as pitch decks or financials, you control who sees them through your connection settings. ArthSetu will not share these documents beyond your designated connections without your explicit consent.
ArthSetu reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, inaccurate, or otherwise inappropriate.
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities on the Platform:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and reporting to appropriate authorities.
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to the ArthSetu name, logo, website design, text, graphics, software, and code — are owned by ArthSetu and are protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
You retain full intellectual property rights over your submitted content. The license you grant us to display your content is limited to operating the Platform and does not transfer ownership to us.
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Platform, you grant ArthSetu the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Basic registration and access to ArthSetu is currently free of charge. We intend to introduce paid plans and premium features in the future.
When paid plans are introduced, the following terms will apply:
We will provide advance notice to existing users before transitioning any currently-free features to paid tiers.
Important: ArthSetu does not charge any fee for matchmaking, introductions, or connections between startups and investors. Be cautious of any person claiming to represent ArthSetu and asking for fees outside the official Platform.
ArthSetu is a networking and discovery platform. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice. All investment decisions made between users are independent and at each party's own risk. ArthSetu is not a SEBI-registered entity and does not facilitate regulated securities transactions.
We do not guarantee that use of the Platform will result in funding, partnerships, or any specific business outcome. The "verified" badge indicates profile review only, not an endorsement of a startup's viability or investment potential.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. ArthSetu is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ArthSetu and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
In no event shall ArthSetu's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the three months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Indian law.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at arthsetupvt@gmail.com. Upon closure, your profile will be removed from public view and your data will be deleted within 90 days, subject to our data retention obligations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law. In cases of serious violations (fraud, impersonation), we may take immediate action without prior notice.
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at arthsetupvt@gmail.com to attempt informal resolution. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days of receiving your written notice.
