IKP–CfHE Biodesign Fellowship 2026–27

IKP Knowledge Park, in collaboration with the Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE), IIT Hyderabad, has launched the IKP–CfHE Biodesign Fellowship 2026–27 to support the next generation of healthcare innovators and entrepreneurs. The fellowship is designed to strengthen India’s healthcare innovation ecosystem by enabling participants to identify unmet clinical needs, design healthcare solutions, validate innovations, and translate ideas into scalable healthcare startups.

The program combines medicine, engineering, and entrepreneurship through structured clinical immersion, hands-on healthcare innovation training, mentorship from clinicians and industry experts, and practical exposure to real-world healthcare problem-solving. Fellows will receive support in medical device innovation, startup creation, healthcare design thinking, and venture-building processes.

Selected fellows will receive a monthly fellowship support of INR 40,000 along with access to innovation ecosystems, clinical mentorship, quarterly reviews, and startup-focused guidance. The fellowship aims to help participants move from healthcare problem discovery to building impactful healthcare ventures.

The program is open to aspiring innovators, healthcare entrepreneurs, clinicians, researchers, engineers, design thinkers, and startup-oriented individuals interested in solving healthcare challenges through innovation.
