THIS?

The GeM Startup Runway enables startups to showcase and sell their

innovative products directly to government buyers, helping them access

public procurement opportunities and grow their business.

OBJECTIVES

• GeM Startup Runway helps startups sell innovative products and services

directly to government buyers through the Government e-Marketplace

(GeM) by promoting solutions that are unique in concept, design, process,

or functionality and improve startup participation in public procurement.

✅ WHO

CAN APPLY?

• DPIIT-recognised startups registered as sellers/service providers on GeM.

• Startups with products/services in existing GeM categories or in dedicated

startup sectors such as AI, robotics, agritech, cleantech, cybersecurity,

edtech, health tech, water tech, assistive tech, etc.

• Other innovative entities.

💰 WHAT DO

YOU GET?

• Access to a large base of government buyers across ministries,

departments, PSUs and other public entities.

• Exemption/relaxation from requirements such as prior turnover, prior

experience, and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).

• Dedicated marketplace visibility for startups and innovative products.

• Ability to list innovative products even when standard categories may not

exist.

• DPIIT-recognised startups registered as sellers/service providers on GeM.

• Startups with products/services in existing GeM categories or in dedicated

startup sectors such as AI, robotics, agritech, cleantech, cybersecurity,

edtech, health tech, water tech, assistive tech, etc.
